Introduction
Welcome to another daily Diamond deal. I recently searched the stacks of diamonds at James Allen and came upon an incredible offer that I couldn’t wait to share with you all. Picture this: a stunning 1-Carat round cut diamond, set in 14-karat gold, all for the unbelievable price (after you see the competition I’ll mention) of $1,400. Yes, you heard that right – a fraction of the $4,000 cost for a similar diamond elsewhere.

The Clarity Conundrum
Now, let me break down the details for you. The featured diamond is categorized as an I1 or I2 clarity diamond. While this might not initially scream top-tier clarity, there’s a secret weapon here – an excellent cut, certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The GIA certification provides confidence that you’re investing in a diamond with a cut that maximizes sparkle, camouflaging some of the clarity imperfections.
A Closer Look at Flaws
In the video, I point out that this diamond is an i1 clarity, and surprisingly, the flaws aren’t the dreaded grainy, dark black kind that immediately catch the eye. Instead, they’re discreetly tucked away on the sides, making them less visible.
Beyond the Artists’ Representations
You don’t want to rely on the pictures from a seller such as Zales, at least with the one I show in the video. It’s an artist’s representation, not an accurate portrayal of the diamond you’ll receive. In contrast, the featured diamond in the video, the one from James Allen, offers a transparent view of its actual flaws, providing a more honest representation of what to expect.
The Price Tag Breakdown
The deal becomes even sweeter when comparing it to the $4,000 alternative. Even with the addition of a 14-karat white gold setting priced at $660, the overall cost remains significantly lower – approximately $2,100 for the entire package at James Allen, compared to $4,000 for the Zales diamond!
